Level 168: early-board notes
These notes describe visible checkpoints in the Daisy Gaming recording, reviewed on . Use them alongside the video to compare your board. They are not a complete tap-by-tap solution; fish names below describe colors and shapes, not official species names.
Compare the early board at 0:10 →
The recorded progress counter has a goal of 162. This is the on-screen counter, not a move count or a count of fish visible in one frame.
Identify the cages and question-mark piece
At 0:10, two cages surround orange fish near the lower center. A rainbow-colored piece with a question mark appears in a group on the left below mid-height. The active target portraits are a dark triangular-finned fish and a round turquoise fish; the latter shows a completion tick in this frame. The counter goal is 162.
Do not count the question mark as a known match
The question-mark artwork does not show a normal fish portrait at this checkpoint. Its exact identity cannot be established from this frame, so leave it out of any assumed triple. Likewise, check the cages before relying on the two orange fish inside them. Neither their location nor their color proves that they are available for the next tap.
Inspect the lower-right dark fish cluster
Several triangular-finned dark teal fish are visible together toward the bottom right. Compare them with the left target portrait and check their accessibility in your current board. For the turquoise order, the completion tick means you should wait for the replacement target before selecting more turquoise fish merely because a pair remains visible in the middle.
Video source and version check
This Level 168 mapping was verified from the Daisy Gaming Fish Sort Puzzle playlist on 2026-09-30. The guide targets the Shycheese game with Android package triple.sorting.bubble.fish.match. Updates can change a board, so report a mismatch with the app version and opening layout.
