Level 169: early-board notes

These notes describe visible checkpoints in the Daisy Gaming recording, reviewed on . Use them alongside the video to compare your board. They are not a complete tap-by-tap solution; fish names below describe colors and shapes, not official species names.

Compare the early board at 0:10 →

The recorded progress counter has a goal of 162. This is the on-screen counter, not a move count or a count of fish visible in one frame.

Match the lower-left bubble and two orders

The 0:10 checkpoint shows a large iridescent bubble toward the lower left. The two active order portraits are a dark teal triangular-finned fish and an orange-striped fish. The counter goal is 162. Several yellow-and-blue striped fish form a cluster on the right, while pale blue-and-white fish appear together nearer the center-left.

The right-hand yellow cluster is a separate design

The yellow-and-blue striped fish on the right are not the orange-striped target. The broad orange fish with red fins in that same area are different again. Inspect the portrait beneath the jar before choosing a group based on color or proximity. A visible pair only helps when the third fish has the same artwork and is accessible.

Compare the lower triangular-finned candidates

Triangular-finned dark teal fish appear in the lower-left and lower-middle groups, with another near the lower-right mixed group. These are useful landmarks for the left order. Check your layout around the iridescent bubble before copying their selections: if it sits elsewhere or the order has changed, return to an earlier matching video frame first.
