Level 87: early-board notes

These notes describe visible checkpoints in the Daisy Gaming recording, reviewed on . Use them alongside the video to compare your board. They are not a complete tap-by-tap solution; fish names below describe colors and shapes, not official species names.

Compare the early board at 0:10 →

The recorded progress counter has a goal of 123. This is the on-screen counter, not a move count or a count of fish visible in one frame.

The purple target has a white band and orange patch

At 0:10, the pink-and-white puffer order is at 0/3 and purple with a white band and orange patch is at 2/3. Exposed purple candidates remain near the center and bottom center. Purple fish with gold stripes form a pair left of center, but those stripes differ from the white-banded target. Compare the full body pattern before selecting.

Two pink puffers sit behind the bottom-left chain

A chain marked 1 encloses two pink-and-white puffers and green artwork at the bottom left. Exposed puffer candidates also remain lower on the right and at the bottom right. Inspect those free pieces separately from the chained pair. Their pale bellies distinguish them from the spotted red octopus-like pair closer to the center.

The key is directly above the chained group

A gold key sits just above the bottom-left chain near colored fan-shell artwork. Follow the key interaction rather than assuming proximity means the lock is already open. Several blue stripe patterns appear elsewhere, including yellow-striped blue and cyan with dark stripes. Neither should be substituted for the nearly filled purple-and-white order or the pale pink puffer.
