The recorded progress counter has a goal of 183. This is the on-screen counter, not a move count or a count of fish visible in one frame.
The octopus is complete while two other portraits remain
The spotted octopus-like order has a completion tick, purple with a white band and orange patch is at 1/3, and flat gold is at 0/3. Three matching purple candidates occupy the upper central group. Purple fish with gold stripes lower near the center are different. Match the white band and orange patch rather than the body color alone.
A purple pair remains at the bottom left
Two white-banded purple fish sit in the bottom-left group beside hermit artwork. More of that design appears on the right. Those positions are useful if your upper group no longer matches the checkpoint. A flat gold candidate is visible at the bottom right beside blue-striped and seahorse artwork, providing a reference for the second active portrait.
Colored shells and striped purple form other pairs
Two colored fan-shaped shells share the left-hand group around mid-height, and two gold-striped purple fish appear closer to the center. Neither pair matches the white-banded purple target. The blue-and-yellow faced fish on the lower right is separate from the plain flat-gold portrait as well. Check the replacement after the octopus completion before treating one of these pairs as an order.
