Level 38: early-board notes
These notes describe visible checkpoints in the Daisy Gaming recording, reviewed on . Use them alongside the video to compare your board. They are not a complete tap-by-tap solution; fish names below describe colors and shapes, not official species names.

The recorded progress counter has a goal of 162. This is the on-screen counter, not a move count or a count of fish visible in one frame.
Which order has just filled?
The pink-and-cream puffer order shows 3/3 at this checkpoint, while the purple-and-yellow round fish shows 0/3. The purple target has a broad yellow rear half. Do not substitute the smaller pink fish with a cream belly visible near the bottom: its body and coloring differ from both of these order portraits.
Where are the purple-and-yellow pieces?
Exposed purple-and-yellow candidates appear in the lower-center and bottom-center groups. Those two locations are separate, so check the surrounding pieces before planning a matching set. This checkpoint does not establish a complete accessible triple; use the video to follow what becomes available after the currently filled puffer order clears.
Which groups are useful landmarks?
The upper-center-right group contains a pair of white fish with dark vertical stripes. Spotted blue puffers are distributed through the left middle, lower center, bottom left, and bottom right. Distinguish these spotted round fish from smoother pale-blue pieces, and use the striped pair as a landmark when your board looks crowded.

This Level 38 mapping was verified from the Daisy Gaming Fish Sort Puzzle playlist on 2026-09-30. The guide targets the Shycheese game with Android package triple.sorting.bubble.fish.match. Updates can change a board, so report a mismatch with the app version and opening layout.
