Level 164: early-board notes
These notes describe visible checkpoints in the Daisy Gaming recording, reviewed on . Use them alongside the video to compare your board. They are not a complete tap-by-tap solution; fish names below describe colors and shapes, not official species names.
Compare the early board at 0:10 →
The recorded progress counter has a goal of 162. This is the on-screen counter, not a move count or a count of fish visible in one frame.
Compare all four orders
Unlike the two-order checkpoints in Levels 163 and 165, Level 164 shows four active target portraits at 0:10: orange-striped fish, seahorses, plain purple fish, and dark round teal fish. The displayed counter goal is 162. Two small cages sit in the lower-right group, enclosing a dark triangular-finned fish and a blue fish with purple fins.
Keep the two purple designs apart
The plain purple target has a compact, mostly purple body. The caged blue-and-purple fish has a blue face and conspicuous purple fins, so it is a different design. There are also uncaged examples of the blue-and-purple fish higher on the board. Do not combine those with the plain purple order when counting a potential triple.
Use uncaged candidates when checking the next match
Inspect the exposed plain purple fish around the center and lower-center groups against the third target portrait. For another order, recheck its own icon before tapping: four active orders give more choices, but they also make it easy to switch designs accidentally. The lower-right cage contents should be checked in the video before you depend on them to finish a group.

This Level 164 mapping was verified from the Daisy Gaming Fish Sort Puzzle playlist on 2026-09-30. The guide targets the Shycheese game with Android package triple.sorting.bubble.fish.match. Updates can change a board, so report a mismatch with the app version and opening layout.
