Level 122: early-board notes

These notes describe visible checkpoints in the Daisy Gaming recording, reviewed on . Use them alongside the video to compare your board. They are not a complete tap-by-tap solution; fish names below describe colors and shapes, not official species names.

Compare the early board at 0:10 →

The recorded progress counter has a goal of 183. This is the on-screen counter, not a move count or a count of fish visible in one frame.

The blue order is already at 2/3

At 0:10, the first target is a narrow purple fish with white stripes at 0/3, and the second is royal blue with curled white fins at 2/3. Exposed blue candidates appear toward the upper left, middle left, bottom left, and bottom center. Compare their faces and pale fin curls with the nearly completed second portrait.

The two left question marks cannot supply a known third

Two rainbow question-mark pieces sit on the middle left beside orange-yellow blue-finned, royal-blue, and deeper green artwork. Their hidden identities are unknown at this checkpoint. Inspect a visible blue candidate for the 2/3 order instead. A cream-faced blue-finned fish elsewhere uses a different portrait and does not substitute for royal blue with curled fins.

Inspect the narrow purple stripes before opening another pair

Purple-and-white striped pieces appear in lower groups as well as nearer the upper left. They differ from plain round-purple artwork. A small yellow blue-finned pair near the upper right and a magenta-red pair below center are separate designs. Check the current bar and exact purple portrait before branching into either of those paired groups.
